AMD LASERS Sets Record Sales at the ADA « AMD LASERS news

October 19th, 2010 – Indianapolis, IN – The low number of dentists attending the American Dental Association Annual Session, ADA, this year did not prevent world leader AMD LASERS from achieving a record number of new sales of the Picasso® and Picasso Lite soft-tissue dental lasers.

"It was really a great combination of factors that kept our booth buzzing with excitement," says Alan Miller President and CEO. "We exhibited our new booth, larger than any other laser company, which allowed for a great synergy and flow. As other laser companies continue to downsize, we are upsizing to supply the demand for our products. Sales this year more than doubled last years’ ADA."

"We were able to debut the world’s first dental laser app for the Apple iPad™ that we developed. There was great interest in the app and dentists love the fact they can receive a Picasso or Picasso Lite soft-tissue laser and an iPad™ preloaded with it. It truly gives a complete solution to adding a laser into a practice," stated COO Bart Waclawik.

Dentist around the globe attend the ADA. AMD LASERS’ Global Account Manager, David Boegler, commented, "It was really exciting to see existing and new dentists from as far away as Egypt visiting the booth and purchasing Picasso® soft-tissue dental lasers. We are already delivering product in over 60 countries, and many more are coming on board upon completion of local registrations."
